Lovebirds Care
There are a lot of things you must consider in Lovebirds care. The cages where they will spend most of their time, their food, and the possible health problems you might encounter if you can’t provide things they need for constant activity. In your Lovebirds cage, you should provide perches where they can comfortably stand, and work as their exercise. You must provide them a lot of toys to prevent them from boredom and stress. They love cage mirrors, bird swings and cage ladders. Also keep a cuttle bone in your Lovebirds cage at all times as a beak conditioner and good addition for your list. Lovebirds need a variety of foods to keep them healthy. You might want to add to your Lovebirds care list, the do’s and don’ts in feeding your Lovebirds. Fresh fruits and vegetables are good for them, just be careful in feeding them some variety of beans that can be toxic, also chocolate and avocados are toxic to them. Be careful when letting them fly out of their cages and let them mingle with your other pets like cats and dogs, their saliva is dangerous for your Lovebirds. This will be a good list for your Lovebirds care, indications of a healthy lovebird: smooth feathers, clear bright eyes, normal stools, a healthy appetite, eating throughout the day, normal level of activity and a clean vent. One more thing that you should list in your Lovebirds care list is that when you decide to give your Lovebird a bird vitamin, you should make sure that it is not harmful to them. Also you should make sure that there is always fresh water available. Good addition to your Lovebirds care list is that Lovebirds need to be let out of their cage, to expend some of their energy by flying. Make sure that all windows and doors are closed. You can attach a bird leash to them so you can control where they are flying. Also you should make sure that your cage is kept clean.
