Y One Man Making a Difference: Abraham Lincoln and Slavery - ... With his goals, he did a great deal of things. Such as leading people into expressing themselves in editorials, political speeches and declarations. Bringing forward the fact that all men are created equal. When slavery started becoming an issue of who would be in control of territory Lincoln said "this question of Slavery was more important than any other; indeed, so much more important has it become that no other national question can even get a hearing just at present."
