Executive Summary
Ever since the new law that was implemented in Florida, that does not allow smoking in dining establishments, we have seen a significant drop in revenue. Before the law passed, on an average per day we would have constant sales of 10000 dollars a day. Now we average 5000 dollars a day. This is a significant drop, about fifty percent of revenues. It is evident that revenues have drop because we have lost the smoking clientele. So we have decided to try to regain this clientele back by offering them a section designated for smoking, which will have ac. Since the rule in Florida clearly states that as long as the food revenue is more than 10 percent of the sales there is no smoking allowed in the establishment. We have researched and found that as long as we provide a different room with glass doors separating it from the dinning area we can allow smoking in another room. This will help us regain the smoking clientele and once again be able to average 10000 dollars a day. Our proposal will explain our expansion of a smoking area away from dining but connected to the same building.

The proposed project will consist of construction of a 2000 square feet ventilated room with air condition, adjacent to our original building. It will be directly across the main entrance and will be separated by two glass doors. Our main goal in completing this project is to facilitate our smoking clientele and maintain the same atmosphere of our existing lounge. This is going to be implemented by providing our minimalist décor, plasma televisions, air condition, and area for people to meet and mingle, while still enjoying a cocktail and a cigarette or cigar.
