Chapter 0- Abandoned Memories
The winter had come to Chicago, proof of it, was the nonstop falling of the cold, yet, ever marvelous snow… It had been six months since the last time they said farewell, after a long wait, Bruce was finally returning to his so called…home…
The long trip he had taken, had worn him off a little bit, job had been awfully strict, with the new company policies he would have to do this at least other two times before he could get their future secured, after all, everything he had been doing for the past years, was all because of her, but, the fact that they had been dating each other for a long time now, only made him worry and miss her like hell…
As he was getting off the plane, Bruce felt as if his long absence made the love for her beloved stronger… sharper even… no day had gone by without him thinking of her and make him feel that thing he had never felt before… at least not that way… and after a long time to think, he had finally decided to confess his true feelings to her, it’s not as if she didn’t know what he felt for her, she was pretty sure he had been way too obvious of that, although he never actually said anything, his actions pretty much gave away everything.
On his way home, Bruce passed by the old flower store near the school they used to attend as childs, the old lady seemed to recognize him and waved him in, Bruce waved back as he crossed the street.
“It’s been a long time since you last visited my little garden, how have you been sonny?”- The old lady said as she was picking the best of her roses, which, according to her, were the last roses of summer. “Not much to say Miss Q, I just came back from a long business trip, heading to see her right now, you know? I think this is the day, I finally will tell her”- said Bruce as he was wandering around the store in a childish way, whistling a famous Sinatra song.
