1. Introduction

Social network is an online community for people from all walks of life to communicate, share the knowledge and opportunity with other social network members. There are many security and privacy issues to be considered when it comes to online social network. Among the different type of social networks, the report describes the key lessons why LinkedIn business and professional oriented social network success and the decline of MySpace music and social network.

1. Social Network User

People are member of several difference social networks to keep in touch through online media. Oxford dictionary defines a social network as a network of social interactions and personal relationships (Oxford 2011). In terms of virtual world, it defines a social network as a dedicated website or other application which enables users to communicate with each other by posting information, comments, messages, images (Siddhartha. S, Varun W. 2011). They have their own purpose, idea to apply the various technology and media to get the attention from each other. Among the many online media, social network architecture has been designed to build the group of people with common interest and associate together on the social network.

2. LinkedIn Social Network

LinkedIn social network built with Java Technology and agile practice (Nick n.d.) for the large scale consumer social network site. It is a huge database of social and professional network with over 135 million users (LinkedIn n.d) connect each other and share the knowledge and experience through this network. It was founded in 2002 and officially launched on May 5, 2003 (LinkedIn n.d.) started to post resume and exchange the message, information, opportunity with friends, colleagues and business contact. One of the most useful elements of LinkedIn is the groups. There are many user group based on subject and issue or such as students, job seeker, journalist, consultant, business development etc., and can join the individual group just request to join it. One of the powerful search tools is pinpoint the person looking for from the business network (Neal 2009).

3. MySpace Social Network

MySpace is the leading entertainment and social networking service. It was launched in August 2003 and has 33.1 millions unique U.S users in August 2011 (Emily Steel 2011). Most of the users to utilize MySpace were musician and band to launch and promote their new songs through their MySpace profile and let people download their songs all for free (Julia and Patrick n.d.). There are many categories around MySpace such as music, video, television, event, celebrity, photo, mail, blog, comments and video game. MySpace is supported solely by advertising for the revenue and every feature and function on the site is free for user (MySpace n.d.).

2.1.1Online Professionals
Over 60 millions professionals use LinkedIn professional online network (Kimberly 2010) to share the information, idea and job opportunity. By creating the new user from LinkedIn network, it can achieve the power of the future career and get the solution for the difficulties and make it happen to re-connect with colleague.

2.1.2 Getting connected LinkedIn
