Limitations to the sight and hearing
There are some limitations to the senses of sight and sense of hearing. For example, our eyes cannot see very small objects such as germs while our ears could not hear very small or very strong. However, with the advent of modern technology, obstacles and limitations to the senses as this can also be overcome. To overcome the limitations of sight, the telescope, microscope and magnifier are used. The telescope let the space scientists to be able to look very distant objects like the moon, so that we know more about space. The function of the microscope is to view very small objects such as microorganisms. It is very useful to the microbiologists. Besides that, the magnifier also can overcome the limitations of sight because it can magnify the small objects. Tools to overcome the limitations of the senses of hearing we used are microphone. It can convert acoustic waves into mechanical vibrations so that the sound is amplified and we can hear clearly. The stethoscope is useful to the doctors because they can hear the sound of heartbeats by this tool. The loudspeaker is used by the teachers to make announcements during the assemblies in the school. In conclusion, advances of technology help us to overcome the limitation of sight and hearing. The behind the ear hearing aids are the strongest type that is available, it covers mild hearing loss to severe hearing loss. Lastly, an open fit hearing aid is a smaller version of the behind the ear hearing aid.
