Throughout the history, vision has had an important impact on thinking. Starting with caveman, drawings were a way of ‘freezing’ ideas and events outside of him and creating a history. In much way, the ‘second world’ man created through his image was critical to the evolution of thinking. Through images, the world of the spirit, the ideal world of mythology, and compelling utopias became immediate and real. INTRODUCTION

If architecture is the art of conceiving forms, architectural lighting is the art of using light to enhance these forms and space. Light has a direct impact on how building interiors and exteriors are designed. It influences the form of spaces and the materials of which they are mad. In the past architecture referred to the movements of the sun. Use of electric lighting beginning in the last century made it possible to add to natural light in the fabric of architecture. The growing technological and formal complexity of use of light in architecture has led to new architecture approach.

Light is able to create shape, emotion and response. The composition of the space creates a response and human perception towards a strange or familiar space. The composition involved the element organization using the principle of design (Moyer, Janet Lenox, 1992) Light related with human emotional. It also involved human experience and control our emotions. Either it is to darker to bright. In a dark, the emotion produce a afraid, uncomfortable feeling especially for kids whereby they will crying to attract adult adults people attention to protect them from afraid feeling.
