Texas A&M, UT, Rice Universality those were the only schools I heard growing up. Everyone has a school of their dreams because growing up all they heard from schools was; if you want to make big money and be successful you have to go to college. The only thing wrong with that statement is that you don’t have to go to college in order to be successful or make money. School wasn't meant for everyone. Some people struggle with school and everyone pushes him to go to college and he doesn't have to money for that, so he has to get loans in order to pay for school and after he gets out he might not get a job in his major and now he has no job no money and has to pay a lot of loans out just because everyone around him told him to stay in school to get a better life. Some people like to work in manual labor; they can’t sit behind a desk and push papers around like other people. The thing that John Stossel is saying is that you don’t have to go to college in order to be successful. He said, in college you don’t really learn much, mostly all the knowledge you have comes from high school, but is a scam? No it’s not a scam they might charge a bit much in tuition but you have to make a budget for yourself. You don’t have to go to your dream school you get a good education you just have to listen to your teacher and you’ll get a good quality of education. On my Fox Business show with Richard Vedder, author of “Going Brpke by Degree: Why College Costs Too Much,” and Nami Schafer Riley, who just published “Faculty Lounges and Other Reasons Why You Won’t Get the College Education You paid For.” Vedder explains why that million-dollar comparison ridiculous: “People that go to college are different kind of people …(more) disciplined … smarter. They did better in high school.” They would have made more money even if they never went to college.
