Life is about pleasure
Have you ever wondered what do u live for? I've heard many responses to this question, which're mostly about enjoying life, pursuing your dreams and achieving them with passion. However, it's also argued that we should live to work, to earn money for raising family. Pesonally, while i agree that life is about pleasure and desire , not all working, i believe that dedication for job should be one of the biggest goal in one's life.
There goes a saying " You only have one life. Live it!". Most of us are guilty of trying to fill up any day-off we have with work. We have been taught that the harder we work, the more successful we become. This belief encourages us to run like a hamster in its wheel, overdo things as much as possible that will help us to live better lives. nevertheless, at the end of this madness, we will end up having no time to live. Everyone knows the importance of working, however, it never brings you long-lasting happiness. Let's imagine one day when you're getting older, you don't have to work anymore as you've already earned enough money to live the entire life, but you don't have any friends, under the pressure of heavy work-load, your health's becoming worse and worse and there's no cure for it, what are you going to spend your money on and with whom? Obviously, while working is necessary for everyone to make a live, there're others factors equally intergral. Rather than always in search of money, do whatever you want, no matter what people are judging, live towards your passions and away from the rest that life offers ,enjoy every single moment of everyday and you will never regret what you have done so far in your life.
On the other hand,it's undeniable that people can't live without working. Nowadays, there are more and more teenagers involved in social evils due to their dissoluteness, making this an alarming trend. Moreover, there still exist people today who have to work hard days and nights to make ends meet.

The most widespread proof that working can shape a character has been instigated by many of our parents. In most households it is common for the kids to have certain duties or chores. Even though most kids, like me for example, don’t enjoy or take pleasure in work, many will argue that it was very beneficial and a lot of experience was gained. Even John Updike, the author of “Hoeing” said, “How many souls have been formed by this simple exercise.” He conveys that doing simple tasks motivates us to do other work that perhaps gave us the attitude and drive to continue to do work.…

In modern society, a person is forced to conform to the standards placed by stereotypes. Namely, the idea that having a the goal of labor, no matter the occupation, is to climb to the highest tier and obtain the most income possible, regardless of passion or interest. That ideal has become a major flaw in the functionality of people claiming to live a successful and fulfilling life. Based on the philosophies and writings of Henry David Thoreau, there is a connection between Thoreau’s concepts regarding society by exposing how working joylessly only for the sake of gaining wealth is not a true way of experiencing a fulfilling life.…

The third factor is: ‘find the purpose of your life’. Finding our purpose in life is not an area of philosophy or religion. It can be anything such as realizing your dreams, helping other people or having a child. Follow your inner voice to find purpose. Sometimes, we should do things that we don’t want. But always keep in mind why you are doing it. If it is your work for the money, try to remember what you are going to do with that money. It might be because you have a family that you love or you are planning to go travelling with the money. You are doing it for big reasons. Incidentally, everything that is happening around you has a purpose. Find the deeper meaning, and you will be able to see that your activities are still worth doing.…
