The decision to study Culinary Arts as a community or state college course is one of which I have spent a lot of time thinking about. After conference with friends, family and counselors, I have decided that this is the right decision for me because this has always been my passion and I am not letting go or giving up my dream.
There are many different types of culinary and many different circumstances to go through. Depending on what type of culinary I want to go into, I know I never have to choose just one. I can always keep my options open and explore many different phases to Culinary Arts. For me personally I want to explore almost everything in culinary even if it takes years to complete.
I enjoy baking, and cooking not only for myself, but for others. I love seeing their reactions to how well or poorly I do. Most of the time I hear good compliments which boosts up my confidence and makes me what to venture out into the real world outside of my kitchen. I feel that I may excel in the world, and I cannot wait. The prospect of working through a course with others gets me excited, not only to communicate, but to see how they work, and handle different situations.
During my spare time over the years I have experienced many different types of cooking and baking, through homemade recipes and cook books. My father used to be a chef at Coco’s for many years. I have always looked up to him and wanted to be just like him. For the little time he is home, I...
