TITLE: A RESEARCH ON NECESSARY SKILLS IN A LIBRARY SETUP

NAMES: OWITI BILL CLINTON

SUMMARY
This report presents some basic library skill that enables readers to make their work effective, resourceful and interesting. We use the internet for most of our research without the necessary skills. We do take out library books but normally they are ones that are entitled to us through our curriculum and suppose would now be considered “old fashioned” library skills. Instead our report has seen the importance of library skills such as: •How to search books using author catalogue and title catalogue •To search text using electronic media

To quote electronic references in research articles
To search for suitable texts on the shelves
To borrow books picked from shelves, borrow books from short section and how to use books in library without borrowing.
