Dear Future self,
Here in the year 2013 life is pretty simple, school, work and taking care of the house. We are still living in Egypt Lake. I'm 21 now, Bobby is 22 and Kayleigh just turned 3. This year I finally started college and I hope by the time you’re reading this that I finished school and have started a good career that you can support yourself and Kayleigh with. I hope you and Bobby are getting along and the construction business is up and running. If that happened to not work out then I hope that you opened the bakery that you always wanted to open up. This year Bobby has been working really hard to get the guys up to standards with working at the level he is at so we can open up our own business and that way Bobby will be his own boss and not have to work as hard or long. Kayleigh is growing up so much and learning more and more each day. Now that I’m in school all she wants to do is go to school with her backpack and learn like mommy does.

This year my mother came to town for thanksgiving and Rick decided that her Christmas gift would be to leave her in Tampa for a couple weeks so she could spend time with me and Kayleigh and he ended up leaving her here for over a month with no money at grandma’s house. But while she was here the time with her was great. We spent almost every day together. We went shopping at every store and flea market you could imagine. She treated us to lunch almost every day and I think that I gained about ten pounds in sushi and chicken wings. Actually while writing this letter to you I was sitting in Grandma’s living room while Kayleigh was playing with both of her grandmas this morning. I enjoyed having my mother here for so long and I miss her so much since she moved to Mississippi and I know she enjoyed being here and we had so much fun. I can’t wait till the next time she can come down here and visit.

This year has not put any kind of obstacles in my way. Everything has gone pretty smoothly...
