Let’s Get The Party Started
Once in a while, I receive invitations from my relatives and my friends. Sometimes it’s for a birthday party, a christening, a wedding, or simply just for a get together party in someone‘s house. Many people enjoy themselves by throwing a house party for their family and friends. Some parties are simple and others are extravagant. Whatever kind of party it is, its success really depends on the host. Organizing a party is a big responsibility because you have a lot of planning to do and also you have to make everything prepared before the day of the party. If you’re planning to throw a house party, there are four important things that you, as the host, have to keep in mind: guest list, menu, music and cleaning the house.
First of all, as the host, you must take a moment to make a list of your guests. Knowing the people who will attend your party is very essential because this will give you an idea of your budget. Also, you don’t want your house to be crowded because you want your guests to feel comfortable and have plenty of space to move as possible. You should consider your closest friends first to make sure that you won’t forget them because they‘re very special to you, and then you can include other people that you want to join your house party. Your guests don't need to know one another, but they should be able to socialize in a mixed group to make the party as fun as possible. Once you’ve finalized your guest list, you can start sending out invitations, and don’t forget to put RSVP on them so that you know exactly who can attend or not. After receiving your friends and family‘s reply, you can then work on your budget and start planning your house party.
