Learning Preferences 1. Describe your strongest dimension on the personality spectrum? My strongest dimension on the personality spectrum was my intelligence which I feel that I am well balanced at some areas. I feel that my personality is good I am a very quiet person and my feelings to what others have to say is very important and I try to let others know my thoughts on what they have to say. I try to take in as much as I can on what others are saying but I am able to use aspects of this predisposition in conjunction with my other strengths. They all help me be an effective distance learning student. This habit also helps me to make a subject more interesting for me, if it is not already so. This summarization and verbalization would also allow me to retain the information since I have to understand it completely to convey it to someone else. 2. Describe how each practice activity reinforced or contradicted something about yourself? This activity has contradicted me in a way that I could try to know what my strengths are and how to obtain them into being successful in what I can do. It has also helped me to try and figure out what my weakness are and then work on strengthen them.
This is very unlike my own style. I can help strengthen others in areas where they may be weak and can better communicate by being aware of one another’s styles. It also allows us to see what strategies other may use that might help me in ways that I can learn better and be very successful in what I want to do. It has also helped me to understand how others like to learn and how they

Just as no two people are alike, no two personalities are alike. Each person’s personality is unique to the individual to whom it belongs. A person may share the same traits as others, such as family members, and while there may be similarities in traits, each individual will have different patterns which will help to make up a different personality (Feist & Feist, 2006). A personality is made up of different characteristics which help to define a person and make them an individual. Besides traits and characteristics, a personality can be made up of a person’s thoughts, feelings, actions, and behavior.…

My strongest dimension on the personality spectrum was kinesthetic. I think that the results of this test best describes the way that I learn best. Kinesthetic learning style refers to a way of acquiring knowledge in which the learner uses sense of movement to gain information about the world. This learning style is sometimes referred to as kinesthetic-tactile. Kinesthetic learners tend to loose interests in activities that rely purely on listening and viewing. Kinesthetic learners work best in activities that incorporate physical activity. I think that I learn best by using my hands, because when I can do hands on activities I pick up very well. When I can learn things by doing them I also tend to retain the skill easier.…
