Leadership and Change
Part 1 Assignment: Process Log

Theme 1 – Critical Thinking
Thoughts: Critical thinking is a basic criteria for leadership. A leader process with critical thinking skill may clarifies goals, examines assumptions, discern hidden values, evaluates evidence, accomplishes actions, and assesses conclusion.
Only leader who process critical thinking skill may lead an organization growth and overcome threat, especially in this fast changing world.
Feelings: Not only leader needs to have critical thinking but everyone does. In our personal life, there is a lot of changes happening too and decision to be made for our own self.
Experience: In the first tutorial with Mr. Hugo, the most interesting part of the day was building an egg tower for a pen holder with papers and paper carton. However, in the end, the tower was not only to hold a pen, but also staple, a mug of sugar, even a bottle of water. All towers built are definitely able to hold the pen and staple, but not all are able hold the mug of sugar and bottle of water. This activity has given me an insight to think critically and think further without narrowing the imagination.
Reflection: A right decision is made with critical thinking, no matter in professional field or in personal life. This gives me an insight to think more, think deeper, and think out of the box, to have deeper understanding in every decision made, no matter at where.

An interesting quote for Critical Thinking.
