We would like to give thanks for all the people who took a part for the completion of this research paper. We really express our great gratitude for all their contributions in this research. Also, for giving us ideas and motivation to finish this work. Leadership is the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal. Effective leadership is based upon ideas, but this ideas won’t happen if you do not know how to communicate or attract someone in a way that engages them. It is also defined as the capacity to influence a group towards the realization of the goal. According to Keith Davis “Leadership is the ability to persuade others to seek defined objectives enthusiastically. It is the human factor which binds a group together and motivates it towards goal”
Leaders may be compared to a captain because he gives the director and inspiration of the group. He is a person that must obtain the combination of personality and leadership skills that can make him to make others follow and obey his commands.
We tend to use “leadership” and “management” interchangeably. These two terms have similarities but base on what we read, leadership involves more. To be effective, a leader must know how to manage his resources and his disposal. This also involves communicating, inspiring, and supervising which are the three primary skills a leader must have.
There is no one who was born to be a leader. Maybe there are some people who obtain more leadership abilities than other but we believe that we can be a leader, if we pursue and improve our leadership skills.
We chose to have this kind of research to help people enhance their leadership skills and pursue themselves to become a much fruitfull individual. In this case we are going to achieve success in much easier way. And if we all know how to be a leader, then all of us will probably know how to obey commands, how to make a good decision, and how to communicate effectively with one another which can help everyone of us understand each other.
In this research, we are going to find the methods that most of the leaders use and also the characteristics of a good leader. These are some of the important things that we must know for us to understand how we are going to achieve the success of the group 3. history of leadership ?
