Scene I
Student: (runs in, out of breath) Sorry I’m late, you wouldn’t believe what happened to me!
Teacher: (angry) I don’t want to hear it, you can tell it to Principal Harvey.
Principal: (nice) Why are you here?
Student: Mrs. Finch sent me here for being late. You wouldn’t believe me even if you heard it!
Teacher: Go on, tell me.
Scene II
Mom: (enters the room) Wake up, you’re late!
Student: (groans and runs down & into the car) Hurry up! I’m late!
Scene III
Student: Mom! Slow down! You’re wayyyyy over the speed limit.
Mom: Don’t tell me how fast to drive missy!
(hears sirens)
Student: Good job mom.
Policeman: Ma’am, do you know why I pulled you over?
Mom: No
Policeman: You were driving way over the speed limit without a license plate and to top it off, you also ran a red light. Please exit out of the vehicle
Mom: No, I wasn’t driving too fast, and my license plate was stolen. You can’t fine me.
Policeman: Get out of the car ma’am
Mom: (gets out of car and starts yelling and getting mad) (improvise at this part)
Student: (gets out of car and pushes the policeman) Just let us go, I’m going to be late for school! I’m already late, just let us go!
Policeman: No, you two will have to come down to the station with me. (arrests them)
Scene IV
*in a jail cell*
Mom: (calling the dad) Come pick us up, we got arrested
Student: (impatient) Where is he, I’m so late!
*Dad comes and bails them out*

    Once again, I was placed in Mrs.Metcalfe who teaches second grade at Bens Branch Elementary. Mrs.Metcalfe took attendance while the students waited patiently on the carpet.
