Faith in my Heart
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:11). When I think about that passage it reminds me of my childhood. Growing up in the house of the Lord gave me an insight of how the afterlife would be when I parish from this earth. The way I was taught about the Bible gave me a better understanding of the goodness of the Lord. This has helped me in my life to be more giving to others and to cherish family. In (John 3:16) “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that we could have everlasting life.” This gave me the understanding, that no matter what I am going through in life and all the things that I may have to give up for someone else is for a good cause. Having this faith in my heart makes me feel very spiritual. I have never had any doubt the Lord existing in this world. When I am lonely, depress, or stressing about things I have no control over, I know I can call on the Lord to get me through these emotions that I am experiencing. I have never seen a vision of the Lord, but, I do believe in a higher power. Having this faith keeps me physically and spiritually attached to the Lord. Some may question my faith being that I have never seen the Lord, but, I grew up praising his Holy name and I shall do so until the day I parish from this earth. This is my faith and I could careless to what others may feel or think about it. We all have some type of Holy Devine we worship in our lives.
