When you sleep, a lot of things happen in your brain. Your brain becomes really active and a lot of thoughts and memories are processed by something called REM sleep. Most of the time, people don’t remember what they think of or dream of during REM sleep. People usually have hundreds or dreams or memories a night during REM sleep. It is during REM sleep that sleepwalking usually occurs. This is because the person is not conscious and he or she does not know what is going on around them and does things that they usually will not do in real life. The real term for sleepwalking is called somnambulism and is known as a parasomnia which is something weird that happens when a person is sleeping. They just act on their subconscious. This can be dangerous because sometimes people think things that they would never do in real life, but when they sleepwalk, the brain can’t tell the difference....
