This paper is used to describe the new accounting system recently put into place at Kudler Fine Foods. This system is an upgraded version of the old system that they had. There are a bunch of new and old key features. Some of these features are:
  1.) It allows the Kudler Fine Foods Company to keep track of all of the purchases that customers are making. Every time a customer makes a purchase it will register to the main computer and it lists the item and how many were bought and the price they paid for it.
  2.) It makes the banking much easier because now it does online banking. This means that if Kudler needs to pay the bills it will be able to do this automatically and it also will show how much money is in the account.
  3.) This new system also shows the accounts receivables which means it will show the money coming in, and the money going out. If money gets spent then the system will let Kudler how much was spent and where it was spent at. This new system also has the feature of a ledger. The ledger is now done on the computer to make it much faster and easier.
  4.) Kudler also as an easy way to take inventory with this new system. They use a hand held computer and scan an item that they have on inventory and the handheld will register back to the main computer how many of each item they have, the amount they sold, the price they sold it for and the sale price. This way Kudler will be able to keep track of which item is selling more than the other. It also does what is known as customer appreciation. They will reward there loyal and frequent   customers with specials and they also have a membership card where if they spend so much money they get points that they can redeem for large items such as plane tickets, a private chef lesson and so on.
