Some of his many famous plays are ROMEO AND JULIET, HAMLET, AS YOU LIKE IT, THE TEMPEST and A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM. Shakespeare was well none for his plays and sonnets but he was also a passionate actor and he performed in many of his own plays.

FUN FACT
William Shakespeare is an anagram of I am a weakish speller.

Shakespeare died a very wealthy man with a large property portfolio, unlike most artists of his time. He was a brilliant businessman – forming a joint-stock company with his actors meaning he took a share in the company’s profits, as well as earning a fee for each play he wrote. Shakespeare’s death is a mystery but the life expectancy back them was lower than us so he died quite old.

BUBONIC PLAGUE IN SHAKESPEARE’S TIME
Bubonic Plague also known as the Black Death was a very deadly disease that was carried in rats and fleas, which lived on the rats. The disease spread very quickly and it killed millions of people. The bubonic plague is the most common form of the plague, produces fist-sized swellings, called bulboes, at the site of flea bites (usually in the groin, neck or armpits) After receiving the plague the victim dies within 2 – 6 days. The bulboes aren’t too painful but they turn red and then to a dark purple or black which gives the name Black Death.
As a result of the Plague wages and prices rose and the standard living for laborers rose accordingly but by mid 15th century living standards lowered again. Shakespeare himself was very afraid of the plague and it shows in some of his plays and sonnets.

I figured this out after I looked deeper into Macbeth his last play he wrote before he died. I also learned that depressed teenagers always turn to Shakespeare for comfort. Shakespeare’s life is a fake smile on the outside, but inside it is dark and lonely.…

Full Name: William Shakespeare Date of Birth: 1564 Place of Birth: Stratford-upon-Avon, England Date of Death: 1616 Brief Life Story: Shakespeare’s father was a glove-maker, and Shakespeare received no more than a grammar school education. He married Anne Hathaway in 1582, but left his family behind around 1590 and moved to London, where he became an actor and playwright. He was an immediate success: Shakespeare soon became the most popular playwright of the day as well as a part-owner of the Globe Theater. His theater troupe was adopted by King James as the King’s Men in 1603. Shakespeare retired as a rich and prominent man to Stratford-upon-Avon in 1613, and died three years later. hesitates to kill Claudius while Claudius is praying, others when Hamlet kills Polonius, and still others when Hamlet vows to focus on revenge at the end of Act 4. Protagonist: Hamlet Antagonists: Claudius uncertainty—Hamlet doesn’t just feign madness; he seems at times to actually be crazy. Related Historical Events: Hamlet is in many ways a product of the Reformation, in which Protestants broke away from the until-then dominant Catholic Church, as well as the skeptical humanism of late Renaissance Northern Europe, which held that there were limits on human knowledge. Hamlet’s constant anxiety about the difference between appearance and reality, as well as his concerns about and difficulties with religion (the sinfulness of suicide, the unfairness that killing a murderer while the murderer is praying would result in sending the murder to heaven) can be seen as directly emerging from the breaks in religion and thought brought on by the Reformation and Renaissance humanist thought.…

ThThe Black Death” is the name that was given to a disease called the bubonic plague which was widespread during fourteenth century. The plague according to modern biomedical science was a severe infection of the lymphatic system caused by Pasteurella petis, a bacillus carried principally by fleas that thrive on animals, particularly rodents such as rats. At the beginning of the outbreak, the cause of the plague was attributed to bad air, some kind of generalized pestilential miasma (Patel, 2011). The Black Plague is said to have originated in Asia and China. It was given the name “The Black Death" because of the black spots it produced on the skin…
