Fashion in Afghanistan Before war
Afghans were very fashion follower. Any new trend which came from Europe or USA followed by Afghans very quickly. And it was easily acceptable for the Afghan people. The availability of the fashionable products were very easily find in Kabul Market.

Although living in a conservative and male dominated society where women were not allowed to come out with out Blue Burqa(Chadare) still Afghans specially Afghan Women were following the fashion.

Like everything else fashion has also effected badly in Afghanistan. Fashion get complicated now and people’s preference changed those people who came from Pakistan they are following the Punjabi outfits and those Afghans who came from Iran are following they are wearing the weird black burqa.
But still fashion is following properly to the some extend of people. We want to spread the knowledge of the fashion to the Afghan man and women.
Because Afghans are still fashion follower. They do spend money for the trendy outfits
Compare to before war there is a good chance that the fashion can be advance because level of liquidly is more and people love to buy the outfits there are so many varieties in the market .All they need is to spread the knowledge of it.
And for the spreading the knowledge we want to make a NGO named KABUL FASHION WEEK .
Kabul fashion week is a platform where the local Afghan and foreign fashion designer get together and show there outfits to the Afghan and international customer.
As it mentioned before that the Afghans are very fashion follower.When ever they get aware of any trend they follow it easily.
Before the war fashion being followed tremendously, fashion was coming from Europe and America very fast and took a place in the heart of the Afghan people.
Kabul fashion week’s aim is to aware the trend which is going in world. Because Afghan do follow the fashion they just need some awareness.
