Juvenile System

The juvenile justice system makes the point to rehabilitate instead of punishing a juvenile that becomes delinquent.   Don’t get me wrong, but the juvenile punishment is still a feasible concept with the juvenile system, but they like to make it the last resort.   However when a juvenile is tried for a crime, they are tried in the juvenile court system.   Juvenile proceedings are not viewed as a criminal, and the juvenile’s records, the court hearing, and etc. Are confidential and not accessible.   A juvenile may be represented by a court appointed advocates who would look out for the child best interest.   Just like a parent standing up for his or her child. Except they will be standing up for the child to help them rehabilitate.   Also children that is tried as a juvenile and sentence cannot be in an adult jail or prison; they would go into a detention center.  
I know a lot of people would agree with me when I say that our juvenile cases are growing so fast and more of our children are getting into the juvenile system.   The result of being a juvenile delinquent is the increasing incidence of runaways, teenage suicides, teenage parenthood, and a series of unhappy marriages and divorces. In this new millennium, children seem to be getting less nurturing and support from within their family. Instead, children are spending more and more time in front of televisions, computers, and surfing the Internet in order to ascertain where to buy guns and homemade bombshell of which contribute to the delinquency problem.4 However, we cannot always place the blame on parents; at times children just want to listen to their peers and follow their advice. If we look into other variables, such as age, sex, type of offense, and quality of single parent-child relationship, we could reach a conclusion that it is not necessarily the parent who is at fault.
