Juries – Considering the social science research on juries, evaluate the Canadian jury system and discuss ways that could be used to increase the reliability of jury verdicts. It may be helpful to considering how juries are utilized in other countries.

Research Paper:
Students shall submit a 3000-3500 word paper on a topic relating to criminal procedure and evidence. The paper shall incorporate at least 12 academic sources. The paper will be evaluated in relation to the following criteria:

1.Thoroughness of research and how well the research is utilized in the paper. 2.Demonstration of critical analysis and personal engagement of the subject matter. 3.Structure, spelling and grammar.

4.Proper methods of citation and bibliography.
