Juno Short Review
Juno
Introduction: This review is about a movie called Juno. It was written by Diablo Cody and Directed by Jason Reitman. Juno was released in September 2007, it is 96 minutes long and the language of the movie is English. It has a broad audience, but the audience has to be open minded. Most people from 12 to 50 would probably find it entertaining.

Description: When Juno MacGuff finds herself pregnant with her best friend, Paulie Bleeker's baby, she has some tough choices to make. She decides to give away the baby to a perfect family. Her fantasy shatters when the husband, Mark Loring of her dream family, leaves his wife, Vanessa Loring. She again has to decide what to do. In the end Vanessa, who is as close to being a perfect mother as you can get, gets to adopt the baby. Juno, pleased to find her baby surrounded by such love, finally acknowledge her love for Paulie Bleeker and they get together.

Evaluation: I think Juno is an interesting movie. It seems very raw, though humorous with it's innovative way of presenting teen pregnancies. It has some very loveable and easily understandable characters. Even though you never had the same difficulties as Juno, her straightforward attitude makes it easy to put yourself in her place. The movie also has some interesting graphic features. I especially like the start where it changes from drawing to reality.

Conclusion: All together a very good movie, not exceptional, but definitely not just a plain good movie. It is unlike many other American movies, which means that some people will like and some will not. Personally I like it, though it is not the first movie I would bring forward, at a movie

Throughout the movie there were some negative things that were present within it. Some of these were how the songs would just randomly begin and could make a certain scene loose its significance and meaning, the plot itself seemed to be a bit predictable and disappointing until a plot-twist occurred. The ending of the movie I found confusing and a cliché. Although there were a few negative aspects present in the movie I still believe it was a successful movie and quite enjoyable.…

It doesn’t matter if there swimming in a lake by a waterfall or climbing a pile of rocks to get to the top. Its always fun for them!! I would totally recommend this movie! Carrie Movie Analysis

Carrie’s role makes the people wonder where is Carries other family or child services when needed. Moretz said to act in the movie just as the Carrie in Stephen King’s book does. Margaret (Julianna Moore) she plays the crazy mother, whom never wanted a child punishes Carrie in every way she can for imagined sins. The characters in Carrie are good but Carrie seems to take away some of the good pieces wrote in Stephen King’s book. The movie has good scenes and sound effects but it seem as something is missing from the original version. Casting for Carrie is great and the actors do not let their audience down, however it seems as if you just can’t get into the movie if you have read Stephen King’s book. This version of Carrie was not scary at all and did not live up to the horror like Stephen King wrote. As one keeps watching Carrie it gets uninteresting even though it’s good how it depicts on teen bullying that’s happening today. The movie has a great aspect for teens who can relate to being bullied and does not have any home family support, which makes them lash…

All in all, I have no criticism for the film. In fact, I believe this film is such that it could be expanded upon to create a full-length feature or at least a more substantial film. But of coure, that requires time and resources that the filmmakers may not have at their disposal. Both the joy and agony of indie films. Phenomenal stories without the restrictions of the studios but also without the funding of the studios.…

The topic of abortion has fluttered through the hearts of Americans as it has created a 2-sided coin that has American divided into two. But Juno, a movie released in December 2007, has created a gray area for Americans. The movie depicts a young free-willed sixteen years old, Juno MacGuff, and places her in a dilemma, pregnancy. “She has a blue-collar background, complete with parents who’ve never heard of Pilates and hoard kitsch in their house.” says Ann Hulbert, in, Juno and the Culture Wars (pg. 396). Juno then takes a ride the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy as she experiences the good, the bad, and the ugly. She ultimately decides to put her baby up for adoption after thoughts of abortion. “But among Juno’s…

Juno is a movie about a teenager facing an unplanned pregnancy. She seems wise and outgoing but when she learns about her pregnancy, she needs to find a way to become resilient and deal with this stress. As noted in Kirst-Ashman (2011), resiliency is “the ability of an individual (…) to recover from adversity, and resume functioning even when suffering serious trouble (…)” (p. 57). Analyzing Juno’s micro, mezzo, and macro systems, we understand how she is able to confront the challenges of the pregnancy in a reasonable and well-thought out manner.…
