People in the city are getting busy in daily life. We need quick, easy and convenient for living that includes eating too. So junk food is a suitable food choice for people who live in the city because we can buy them easily at convenience store or grocery stores. This is benefit of junk food. In fact, according to its name “Junk Food” Exactly it is not good for our health. Junk food doesn't have many nutrients, makes us gets obese and causes anxiety.

Junk food does not have many nutrients. It is often high in carbohydrates, preservatives, fat, sugar, salt and calories. For example of junk foods include salted snacks, gum, candy, sweet desserts, and cola. They are low in satiation value. If we eat much of Junk food, it can make another problem is the junk food tends to replace other more nutritious foods.

Another problem is the junk food makes us obeses that is people do not tend to feel full when they eat them which can lead to overeating. Funk food tends to have a higher calorie. According to the increasing statistic of the fat disease, it shows there has many people who get a fat disease. Moreover junk food in general is the leading cause of obesity in people of all ages, and can lead to diabetes and heart disease. Junk food has not only affects our body but it also affects our mind. The overconsumption of high calorie food could response to the brain. Eating junk food contribute to anxiety and stressed because our brain makes higher level of Corticosterone hormone associated with stress which has been linked to increased depressed behavior. That is some reasons why junk food is called junk food because it has only disadvantage for our health. So we should avoid eating junk foods. Easily way to avoid is we should change the food environment at food. For example, keep less food at home than usual to avoid temptation.
