ACTIVITY A: JOURNAL
30th march 2007:
I visited www.isaca.org, and read a case study about Columbia bank (2:40 pm). I logged on to www.columbiabank.com (3:00 pm) and wrote letter to them regarding the information about its IT governance. I also logged on to www.pg.com (3:40 pm) and wrote them too.

3rd April 2007:
I visited www.isaca.org (2:45pm) and took case study of all state insurance and logged on to its’ site, www.allstate.com (2:55 pm) and wrote them for information about IT governance.

6th April 2007:
I went to Kogarah library and got “IT governance – A Pocket Guide based on COBIT” “by Koen Brand & Boonen.

7th April 2007:
I got the information about COBIT through “IT governance – A pocket Guide based on COBIT”

24th April 2007:
I logged on to www.allstate.com and started the introduction part of my report (6:00 am). I also logged on to www.safari.oreilly.com and got some journal article about some process which helped me to understand the subject better (7:45 am)

27th April 2007:
I got a book called “Defining IT Governance A consolidation of Literature” by Marten Simonsson and Pontus Johnson, P.H.D which gave me an information about IT governance and its importance. I than visited www.hpl.hp.com which gave me some of the technological report of COBIT (9:00 am) which was really helpful for me to enhance my knowledge on COBIT.

29th April 2007:
I tried to log on to www.allstate.com but the site did not opened so I logged on to www.isaca.org and read the case study of Canadian Tire (3:40 pm) and logged on to www.ctfs.com (4:00 pm) read the information given and finally decided to make report on it. So again I started the organizational introduction part of my report.

30th April 2007:
I got the information of COBIT from USQ server (1:45 pm), and copied it. I started the 2nd part of my report (3:45pm). I logged on to www.oblicore.com and abstract some information about the focus of COBIT (5:00 pm). I also
