Joint Family System

Good afternoon

My name is Qamber. I am here to propose the joint family system.

A family is made up of many elements and relationships.

A relationship whether it is a small baby or an elderly man, has its due place and importance in the family.

A family is strong only with the presence of all the members.

People can share their sorrows with each other.

Their happiness is the same.

They usually do not need any outsider to intervene in their matters as they are enough for themselves.

When there is an event like a wedding ceremony in the home, the zeal is just worth seeing.

Similarly the other festivals like Eid are celebrated with full enthusiasm.

For some people living together is more than merely celebrating an event.

This system even ensures safety especially for children as usually when their parents are away, the children always have someone to take care of them.

In a nuclear family you feel bored and want some sort of entertainment while in a joint one u always have one of your cousins free to play with.

People have to contribute and share money to fulfill their needs.

This sometimes costs lesser then what they would have to pay if they lived in a nuclear family.

Grand parents especially the sick ones want the family to live with them so they can be taken care of.

This modern age has made us so busy in our daily chores that we do not find leisure time, and if we have some free time we like to spend it watching television or movies.

In the end, I’d just like to say that the relationships and family is very important in one’s life.

One cannot spend his life alone and needs these beloved relations to cope with the difficulties of this hard life.

Thank You.
