Subject 2: A 45 year-old sedentary woman, HDL cholesterol = 40 mg/dL, An acceptable HDL range is between 40- 60 mg/dL (1.04–1.56 mmol/L). LDL cholesterol = 140 mg/dL, LDL levels between 130 – 159 mg/dL (3.36–4.13 mmol/L) are considered borderline high. Triglycerides = 250 mg/dL, Levels between 200-499 mg/dL (2.26-5.63 mmol/L) are considered high. This 45 year-old sedentary woman is not at risk major for heart disease or any of the etc.but she does need to watch some of the things she is eating and get some workouts in atleast 2 times a week.
Subject 3: A 60-year-old sedentary man, HDL cholesterol = 25 mg/dL, An undesirable level of HDL is any level below 40 mg/dL (1.04 mmol/L). In this case, low HDL levels may help to contribute to heart disease. LDL cholesterol = 250 mg/dL, LDL levels at or above 190 mg/dL (4.91 mmol/L) is considered very high. triglycerides = 115 mg/dL, Triglyceride levels should be below 150 mg/dL (1.69 mmol/L) so this is great that his levels is pretty low. This 60 year-old man is high at risk for Heart attack,stroke, and many other heart diease if he does not consult with his doctor immediaely.
