They were Both Jewish, Mary and Joseph weren’t married at the time Mary became pregnant, it is said that her pregnancy was an immaculate conception created by God. God had sent an angel to tell Mary and Joseph to name the Baby Jesus. It is unclear exactly when Jesus was born but it is said to be December 25, 7 BCE (USBible.com).   During his first 30 years, He lived a normal Jewish life, his occupation was that of a carpenter. When Jesus was 30 he went to the Jordan River to be baptized by a profit John. Once Jesus was baptized he began to travel, teaching, and he appointed 12 disciples. Jesus started making miracles by healing the sick and turning water into wine, and feeding thousands of people with only a few loafs of bread. (Time Travel)   He held what is now called “The Last Supper” in which he foretold that he would be betrayed by a single disciple, and he would be executed because of his disciple. He took bread and wine, and he said "this is my body which is given for you" and "this cup which is poured out for you is the New Covenant in my blood," and told his disciples to "do this in remembrance of me” (Luke 22:7 -20) After the supper, He and his disciples went to pray in the Garden of Gethsesemane. This is where he was arrested. (Religion Facts)   He was placed on a wooden cross, by nails being placed in his hands and feet, and a crown of thorns on his head. He was brutally beaten and executed. Once he had died his body was placed into a tomb and the opening was covered with a boulder. The fowling Sunday when his tomb was visited it was found to be empty, Jesus had resurrected. It has been said That Jesus has died for our sins.   Jesus’ Impact of Death   The influence he had on the lives of many people have never been surpassed.
