JavaNet Internet Café’s business plan does not specify if the manager Mr. Cale Bruckner has any business experience. The investors will not have any management control so the business will be run by Mr. Cale Bruckner and by his knowledgeable employees. The business model is very simple with the service being just as simple. The marketing is not aggressive enough to attract customers and to add to its noncompetitive strategy, it makes little sense to aim for novice internet users. That market of people if there is any, will be very small. The majority of people know how to use the internet but teaching others who do not will help and add value. JavaNet Internet Café should aim at working with advanced internet users as well. The employees will be of an asset to the company since they will be highly knowledgeable in case of any technological breakdowns. The company’s financial plan is very well detailed and assures it will be well funded.

The business model should have been more creative and added more services that can cater to those who want more than just coffee and internet. Maybe adding video games might boost growth and attraction. It is not unique enough compared to its competitors and the long term stability of the company is questionable since it does not have innovation. The marketing of the business is unclear and lacks precise detail. It doesn’t appear that JavaNet plan thoroughly on how to draw customers and how it will treat them to sustain long-term loyalty. The selling force is absent since it does not have incentives to draw attention to its store. JavaNet should offer samples to people so they can try out its products. It should offer free trials to its internet access. The management style is also very hands off and needs to be more hands on.
