INTRODUCTION
The researcher of this study aims to unlock the mysteries of the Japanese government especially the facts that are not yet known by the majority. This includes some historical backgrounds of the Japanese government and so with its current standing. This also involves the events and the people that made the Japanese Government the way it is today and from the very start of its existence. The researcher would also like to answer personal questions with regard to the Japanese Government. This term paper could be of great importance to people especially to those that have the interest to learn something new about Japan and its government. A systematic research will be conducted by the researcher in order to come up with a well-detailed and successful term paper.

I. Japanese Government
Japan is a constitutional monarchy, with a hereditary emperor and a parliamentary system of government. The present constitution was adopted on October 7, 1946 and became effective on May 3, 1947. The emperor is the ceremonial head of state with little governmental power. Emperor Hirohito reigned from 1926 until his death in 1989.
