As a potter molds clay to form a beautiful creation, so does a strong bond of family and good values create a strong personality. The family bond is a link to our beginning and a guide to our future. That was just an emotional answer to these questions, let us take a look at the practical one. Family is also important because it provides you with the most vital things in life as security, psychological needs and identity.
Safety needs is one of the most important answers to the question why family is important to society. The feeling of fear is present in every human being, thus all of us want to feel secure, because security is important for the smooth running of our lives. A close family bond is like a safe harbor, where we find refuge. Family bonds help to instill trust and optimism in the world around us and belief in ourselves. It gives us a hope that someone will give a helping hand if we fall, that someone will be there for us if we experience storms in life. You do not have to fight on your own against everything, and this feeling helps in developing of a human being, as he does not need to be worried about his/her safety. Some people are not aware of the fact that family can replace friends, but not vise versa. However, when you start interacting with the outside world, you realize that friends are not enough to ensure your success, not even your survival. When you find yourself in such a situation, what is it that sustains and supports you? It is your family. If you already are a successful person, then it only underlies the importance of family and the values inherited by you.
