Growing up kids was taught that earning a college degree could get them a better life. Elementary school prepared us for the next step of higher education, which was junior high, and the high school. After attending school since the age of 5 years old education was the only thing we learn that would make us have a brighter future. Once we reach the 12th grade, the only thing we could think about is what college we will attend? What career path best fits our personality, and best interest. Nobody inform us on other options that are available to us. They drill in our heads on the outcome of college but don’t explain the hard work, commend we have to make ourselves and the student loan company to succeed in obtaining a Bachelor degree or Master’s one day. We all one day want to make our dream and reality but nobody can say they truly have what it takes until you try. Avoid unnecessary debt from college can become very difficult if that is the only thing one has learn over the years. The teachers told the average students it is only to attend college at a community college and then transfer to a 4 years university. Bigger universities are seen to some people the proper education over a vocation school that can prepare student with a great skill of trade to better their future. Yes, having a job at that make at least 75,000 year will get you the perfect job and life but you will accumulate twice the amount of debt after graduating from college. Jafri2
College is for everyone who is willing to go beyond their comfort zone. Meaning if a C average student graduate from high school doesn’t mean he or she should settle for a trade learn from a vocation school. Telling a person you could never attend college with a 2.5 GPA to become a nurse, doctor, lawyer, engineer etc. In the future, would just crush someone’s heart. Some of the smartest people in the world are C average students, but they have too much on their plate to handle in order to focus on school to earn A’s and B’s. A lot of us or less fortune than others. Meaning, if you come from a family who has money and can provide you the stress free life while attending college should be excluded out of the percentage of the high grades scales. Whereas, students who work real hard got to school full time, live in poverty should be the only one listed in the poll. In the compare, C average students to an average student we need more clarification on both category’s to give more specific detail information behind the grades.

Scott Carlson’s Article How to Assess the Real Payoff of A College Degree, shows his point of view on college and if it is worth all the hard work, time, and debt.
