MUTUAL FUNDS ARE SEEMINGLY THE EASIEST AND THE LEAST STRESSFUL WAY TO INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. QUIET A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY HAS BEEN INVESTED IN MUTUAL FUNDS DURING THE PAST FEW YEARS. ANY INVESTOR WOULD LIKE TO INVEST IN A REPUTED MUTUAL FUND ORGANIZATION. HDFC IS ONE SUCH ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES A BETTER OVERVIEW OF THE MUTUAL FUND INDUSTRY. UNDERSTANDING THE PERCEPTION AND BEHAVIOR OF INVESTORS WITH THEIR INVESTMENT WOULD HELP THE COMPANY TO INCREASE THEIR PROFITS. The research was done on the topic “Investors’ Perception and Behavior Regarding Mutual Funds”.. The data was collected with the help of a questionnaire. The sample size considered for the study was 81 wherein all the samples were investors of Jamnagar city. The tools used for the analysis include Percentage Analysis, Mean Score Values and chi-square analysis. The analysis was divided into 2 phases, which are Personal Factors and Investment Factors. The study revealed that the investors have a positive attitude towards their investments in HDFC Mutual Funds because of its consistent performance and better service.
