Abstract
Infiniti retail is a subsidiary of TATA sons and operates a chain of multi-brand electronics store under the brand Croma. Being a retail player, the function of Inventory management holds significant importance and it requires careful and constant evaluation. The project is about “Inventory Management and Optimization”. Under this project, I will be performing the task of Inventory audits, liquidation, decision making on price front. During this process, the inventory at various store locations will be checked to see if the stores are following necessary guidelines for selling the inventory to the customer. It will also take care of the defective goods through repair or write-off. The primary goal of the project is to diagnose the problems and ensure the implementation of the standard procedures to manage the inventory. It also aims to derange the goods as per the requirements to liquidate the slow-moving and obsolete inventory. The project will help the organization in inventory health check.
