After I have completing my Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business, I have been appointed as a Marketing Manager at the Mamee Double-Decker Berhad in Melaka. The CEO called me into the office and after an initial discussion on my HND qualification, he asked me to investigate and prepare a discussion paper on how the company can be marketed to existing and new customers.

About Mamee Double-Decker
I had studied about our company’s background. As you know, Mamee Double-Decker is a Malaysian based company with interest in the manufacturing, marketing and distributions of snack foods, beverages and other products. We has ours registered office in Malacca. We distribute the Mister Potato and Mamee Noodles brands. Mamee was incorporated on 3 August 1991 and was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange's main board on 18 March 1992. Mamee-Double Decker has delisted from Bursa Malaysia on Monday, 9 Jan 2012.

During my research about this company’s background, I found that we began with a single product but have consistently grown to our current range of around 50 and the number is ever growing. Many of our products are already household names including Mamee Monster, Mamee Instant and Sllrrrp! Noodles, Mister Potato Chips, Mister Potato Crisps, Cheers Beverage, Nicolet Swiss Herb Candy and the newest recent addition products, Nutrigen Cultured Milk Drink, Yogurt and IQ3.

Our company had located our branches at each state all over the country except at Perlis and Kedah. The establishment of the branches at each state is to make the distribution of our product to the whole country become much easier.
