The supply chain should supply a high quality coffee bean and have a fast delivery or a JIT delivery focus.
3.How does purchasing help Starbucks achieve their supply chain goals? Purchasing helps Starbucks achieve their supply chain goals by fulfilling their role in the integrated supply chain. This can be obtained in part by developing more long term supplier relationships which are both ethical and sustainable. Results of these relationships are usually higher quality, lower purchase costs and better delivery.
