INTERVIEW
An interview is a meeting of persons for discussion where there is an explicit objective of conversation. The interviewer assesses the interviewee’s personality, knowledge, qualifications, skills, enthusiasm and accomplishments.

b) In interview both parties are responsible for a decision of acceptance or rejection.
c) For a job, marriage, loan, seeking help from any body you may find yourself being interviewed.
d) Many careers you may choose require interviewing as a regular part of job.
e) Salesmanship, reporting, social work, personnel work, psychological testing, market research, law, medicine and many other fields especially television and radio depend on interviewing.
Preparation and Confidence:
a) Don’t go to the interview laden down with baggage- psychological as well as physical. Take the bare minimum of belongings necessary.
b) Concentrate on the interview at the interview – nothing else.
c) If you are asked to bring certificates, references etc., get them ready before the day.
d) Take your interview letter.
e) On arrival ensure the receptionist knows you are there.
Job Interview:
a) Interview for a job is a screening device.
b) It is an exchange of information between the interviewer and the interviewee with an objective of understanding the strengths and weakness on both sides.
c) The purpose of an interview is to match the requirements of the organization with the abilities of individuals.
d) The individuals may be interested to put forth their abilities and avoid the deficiencies so as to convince the management.
e) Organization asses both the strengths and weakness of the individuals and see to what extent the individuals can handle their job requirements.
