INTERVIEW WITH FRANCES VILLA THROUGH FACEBOOK

What did you like most about France?
Although there are loads of tourist attractions in France, the place I liked the most was Disney land Paris
Where did you stay there?
We stayed in a hotel away from central of Paris, outskirts. It was like 1hour 30 minutes away from Charles De gaulle Airport. Can't remember the name of the place
What can you tell about their culture?
I have mixed feelings about their culture. I have French friends and they are really nice, but when I went to Paris few of them were not too friendly, not accommodating. Train stations are dirty, vandalisms all over pavements. Probably if I get to stay there longer I'd get used to it.
How was the food there?
As we were staying away from central of Paris, we had no other choice but to eat in the restaurant that is located inside our hotel. They served pasta pasta and pasta! I don't mind pasta from time to time, but I can't eat it every day. When we finally went to the centre of Paris, loads of restaurants, different type of food which is nice as i was craving for something else apart from pasta.
Did you find it expensive or cheap?
I wouldn't say it's cheap, but I live in London so compared to London, goods they are affordable
Which tourist attractions did you go at?
I've only been to Eiffel Tower and Disney land. We went there during winter time, freezing! We couldn't be ask to move around. Can always go there again though
Were you travelling by yourself? With friends? Family?
I was with my cousin

16 years later, the one and only happiest place on earth began appearing in other places on earth. The first expansion to Walt Disney world in Florida created new opportunities for Imagineering to experiment and they created attractions like Epcot center – a taste of cultures from all over the world. The results drew fans from across the globe, but later iterations at the park in Europe and Asia are the first real experiments in bringing Disney entertainment directly and personally to a global audience right in their front yard.…

Just for extra fun we drove to Chicago and stayed there for two nights. We explored downtown Chicago, all the amazing buildings. We even got to go into the old Sears Tower, which was something that I think everyone needs to see. It's probably one of the best sights I've ever seen, other than the fact I've only seen a good view going down Quincy hill near my hometown.…

My fondest of a Disney park was a 2005 trip to Disneyworld with my wife and young daughter. During our stay we visited the parts of the park my daughter prefered at the time, which was mainly princesses and fairy tales. One of her favorite rides in the park was called “it’s a small world”, which is a boat ride consisting of models of little islands, boats, and little figures. She also loved seeing all the princesses and visiting them. Personally, I like all of the roller coasters and thrill. Overall we had an amazing stay and a pleasant experience.…

The word ‘culture’ originated from the French meaning, “to tend to the Earth and grow, cultivate and nurture.” (Zimmerman, 2015). Culture, in general, is something that varies greatly among different regions of the world. Even inside the United States, there are many cultural differences. This is true as well for France.…

It's the happiest place on earth and has every attraction imaginable from rides and water parks to dining and shopping. Where am I talking about? Disney world of course! According to Walt Disney World Media Relations, Disney World is the number one vacation spot in the entire world and attracts people of all different ages and cultures. I have personally been to Disney World well over twenty times, which is not always a good thing, especially when you are being forced to go with your family and miss spring break at the beach with your friends! However, I do have to admit that even on that particular trip, which I pleaded desperately not to go on, my family and I had a wonderful time together. Disney World is a wonderful…

Rides such as Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and my person favorite, Mike Wazowski’s Laugh Floor, are few of the many notable rides. It is also home to Cinderella’s castle and the MainStreet Parade where all of the characters showcase their skills by marching through an amazing performance. Walking into Animal Kingdom is like being transported straight into the jungle. The real life animals are a favorite to kids, but this park is also the favorite for many adults. My parents particularly loved this one because of the light shows, animal sightings, and of course, the amount of shade from the trees. As a movie lover, especially of Disney Movies, I took a real liking to Hollywood Studios. Between Star Wars, everything Pixar, and The Great Movie Ride which highlighted a bunch of classic films through the generations, there was nothing there I did not enjoy. I constantly dream about visiting again and learning more about what goes in to making the iconic films we all know and love. Finally, Epcot, an experience that you could spend a week on, alone. Epcot is amazing because it is a little piece of a number of cultures all in one space. The restaurants are all authentic and each cast member/employee are from the country they work in. It is possible to travel through the culture of a country in the same continent to a country on the opposite side of the…

Disney World is the most enjoyable place I have ever been. The sights and sounds are outstanding there. Every corner presents new attractions. The noise of laughing children fills the air. Music plays loudly amidst the laughter filled streets. Delicious aromas engulf my nostrils while passing restaurants. Just as a child, adults become excited when Mickey shows up. The feeling possessed while on a ride exceeds expectation. It may appear a theme park, but a magical experience would be more fitting.…
