ABSTRACT

I have visited Sunshine Garments, Tirupur,. is a registered unit for my internship training from June 2010 to July 2010. The company permitted me to go through their premises and functions of the company and observed the company activities.

Mr.P.Nallasamy, Proprietor of Sunshine Garments, Tirupur, who has put the lot of efforts in the company to become a standard company in international market, with his past experience.

The organization study has given me an opportunity to know about the functions of the factory various departments like purchase, production, human resources, marketing, finance. It helps to know about the policies and procedures followed by the organization.

This period of internship training in Sunshine Garments is very much enjoyable and fruitful. I very much helpful that this training is very help in my future ventures.

During the internship training period the administration and as well the employees are very helpful and offered the full guidance and co-operation.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY
The internship training period of 45 days is great opportunity to me gather practical knowledge about the functions of an organization. Though we have theoretical knowledge about the functions of an organization, it is very different practice. So we can know the practical things applied in the organization through this training. This training also provides us with confidence to work in an organization in future. It helps students in further studies. Textile industry plays a vital role in India. Textile is one of our basic needs. It is very essential to our life. Everyone needs clothes. Normally Indian economy is largely dependent on textile manufacturing and exports. The Indian textile industry is the second largest in the world Second only to china. It is one of the profit industry of our country. It provides more benefits to our economy. Internship training is very useful to my MBA program. Training refers to the process of imparting specific Skills. Training refers to facilitate learning so that people can become more effective in carrying out various aspects of their work. The internship training I underwent to Sunshine Garments. It enriches my knowledge in a practical manner. This practical training, we can observe that how the company is taking more care about welfare and safety facilities to employee’s communication and hospitality in this organization is good.
