An internship report submitted to the department of management sciences, Lahore College for Women University, in partial fulfillment of the requirement for the degree of bachelors in business administration.
In deep appreciation of love, understanding and support given throughout the years, this report is being dedicated to my parents.
The internship program has to some extent enables us to see the relevance and applicability of various tools and theories of management. Moreover this training has created an awareness of the various career opportunities available in the market as well as through competition we the students of Lahore College for Women University have to face in securing jobs. This report thus represents the details of my internship at NURPUR FOODS. I hope this report will give the reader a brief and meaningful idea about the company.
I am grateful to All Mighty Allah for giving me strength to put together this report and I would like to thank my parents for their throughout support, my teachers for instilling in me enough knowledge to be able to carry myself efficiently during my internship and last but not the least staff at Nurpur Foods especially Mr. Rizwan Khan (Marketing Manager), Mr. Muhammad Tayab (G.M Business & Marketing), Mr. Nauman Afzal (Chief Financial Officer), Mr Raja Jhanzeb Khan (National Sales Manager) and Mr. Faisal (Accounts Manager), who were extremely helpful during the internship and for the compilation of this report.
I am studying for BBA (hons) degree in Lahore College for Women University, and internship is compulsory for this degree because it is recommended by the university. Internship helps us to get the practical knowledge of the field and we get a chance to implement our knowledge that we have gotten from our 16 years of education. My selected company was NURPUR FOODS (Noon Pakistan Limited) which was the first Dairy Company in Pakistan. I decided to join this company because this company is not as much famous as the other companies are because of lack of advertisement and promotion strategies. I was keen to know why this company is not expanding its market although it offers the quality products. I have completed 6 weeks internship in Marketing and finance department. During my training period I have been provided with an exposure to different departments of Nurpur foods facilitating me to become familiar with practical side of my study and organizational atmosphere. In the first chapter of my internship report, I gave a brief description about Noon Group of companies and the introduction of Noon Pakistan limited. In second chapter I have explained the necessary details about the management of the company. In third chapter I have explained the marketing mix of the company. In the forth chapter, I have included the financial statement analysis of Noon Pakistan limited, in the fifth chapter I have described the SWOT analysis. In the seventh chapter I have explained my internship experience and training program including the things which I have learned. In the last I have given the conclusion about the final project and problems and recommendations for the company. At the end of this report I have given all the references of the data which I have included in this report.
