Chapter One
Introduction
To provide the reader with useful background information, I start this report with geographical location, some information on the region where Sophia Country Club is situated.
After that, an introduction of the hotel includes its brief history, owners, number of staff members, room facilities and restaurant environment.
Furthermore, I make a brief statement of the job roles that I have when doing this internship.
Moreover, I will elaborate on what I have learnt during my training period from a professional and personal point of view.
Finally, this internship training report ends up with some special points on hotel staff management at the production line particularly in F&B department and Front Office Department.
Chapter Two
The Place Perfectly positioned in the heart of Sophia Antipolis, Sophia Country Club boasts a fantastic location. The 4-star establishment is only 20 minutes from Cannes, and equally far from the bustling terminals of Nice’s airport. This 4-star hotel is set in a 13-hectare landscaped garden featuring 2 swimming pools and 20 tennis courts. A free shuttle service is available to transport hotel guests to company offices in Sophia Antipolis only.
The town where Sophia Country Club is located is called Sophia Antipolis. Sophia Antipolis, the French ‘Silicon Valley’, is a technology park northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice. Sophia Antipolis business park employs 30,000 people across 1 million square meters of office space. Much of the park falls within the commune of Valbonne. Created in 1970-1984, it houses primarily companies in the fields of computing, electronics, pharmacology and biotechnology.
