The laborious work has been a success due to moral, financial support and guidance from various persons. I would like to send my sincere gratitude and heart-felt appreciation firstly, to my Almighty God, to whom I owe my life, wisdom, and good faith in all my endeavors. I praise him for enabling me on my academic journey and carry out this academic training in particular.
I thank the Senior Staffs of the National University of Rwanda and the Faculty of Economics and Management in conjunction with AGASEKE Bank Limited, the Management Staff especially the Department of administration and Finance that allow me this period to conduct an internship for the purpose of transforming the theoretical knowledge acquired in class into the practical part of it. I also thank Kabuga Branch Manager Mrs. UMWIZA Marie Josée for accepting me as an Intern. This internship helped me to improve skills acquired in class in conjunction with experience in banking system.
Great appreciation is extended to my uncle NKURUNZIZA R. Vedaste and my Sister NSABIYUMVA Jacqueline for their valuable support both moral and financial means which made me fully compile my internship report. I thank all my friends for their effort that directly or indirectly had a positive impact on this work.

The internship that was conducted at AGASEKE Bank Limited Kabuga Branch, which lasted for four weeks from 30th July to31stAugust 2012, allowed me to reconcile the class theory with practice in order to introduce myself to a professional life. I carried out my internship in Operation Department and Credit Department, teller service. The objective of this internship was to familiarize myself to operations carried in these services.
This internship report provides information on the background, mission, vision, objectives, location, and banking procedures of AGASEKE Bank Ltd. Therefore this internship report can act as a source of information for anybody who wants to get information concerning this Bank as an institution.
