Analysing the international infrastructure project “Mozambique railway” undertaken by Rites in collaboration with Ircon. The various stages of the project are
Advertisement by the Mozambique government: where in the Mozambique government gives out an advertisement stating the availability of the project for international bidding. •Expression of interest (EOI): where in the interested parties express interest in the project and requests for the specification. •Instruction to the bidder (ITB): gives the procedure foe the bidding as to How to bid, what documents are required are to be submitted and How the bid will be awarded. •Request for Qualification (RFQ): where in the concerned/ interested parties send their qualification for the project i.e. Technical expertise and Financial qualification. • Request for Proposal (RFP): only those who fulfill the qualification and are short listed for the project are required to submit the RFP document. The RFP contains Technical Proposal

Financial Proposal.
Letter of Intent (LOI): the project is awarded to the bidder based on highest NPV. •Concession Agreement: the agreement is signed between the party and the government. •Project initiation: Mobilising the team and start the project.

1. Introduction

1.1 Objective
The objective is to analyze an International Project right from the bidding stage to the awarding of the project and the project implementation stage. 1.2Methodology
The data used in the project is from RITES Ltd, which was awarded the Mozambique project. The data was then processed and analysed on MS Excel and finally presenting the findings.

1.3 Hypothesis
The strength, size, operations, productivity, efficiency, quality and generating positive NPV are important considerations in project financing decisions of the firm.
