InterClean Inc. is aspiring to become the leading company in sanitation services. We recently merged with EnviroTech to accomplish this goal. This paper includes a job analysis, workforce planning, and the selection process that will help us employ the best of the best.
The job analysis serves as “the foundation for forecasting the need for human resources as well as for training, transfer, or promotion” (Cascio, 2006, p. 159). The job analysis methods we use are observation, job performance, and interview. Interviewing employees on what they do and how they perform their daily duties provides an overall description of the job. Interviews play an essential part of the analysis as the company use the information for the create job descriptions and study job evaluations. Performing the job gives primary exposure to illustrate an accurate picture of the primary functions of the sales representative. Observing employees, without interfering, will inform us on how they become successful and show the methods they take to complete the task. These methods helps with training, allows us to see what changes we can make to the job to make it more comfortable for disable employees. The job performance method is well suited for the development of tests and interviews as well as the design of performance appraisals and training.
Summary of Salesperson position:
The ideal salesperson will develops and implements a sales process to include initial contact, follow up, presentation and closing procedures. Maintain records of contacts and sales status including contact reports, sales projections and quota ratios.
Duties
1. Produce leads, introduces the company's services, close sales, and conduct follow-ups with potential and former clients.
2. Display knowledge of InterClean Inc. products and services and be able to assess the client’s needs. Up-sale other products and services.
