I am a person who is inspired by my aunt. Everyone has inspiration from someone in their life, whether it is a celebrity or your own parents. Inspiration is something that inspires you to do something in your life. Many people do things out of the kindness of their heart, and some do not realize they are inspiring others around them. In my life, there is a lady whom I have known my entire life. She has had the biggest impact on my life and she turned me into the person I am today. To me, my aunt Gigi inspires me the most. She has made a huge positive difference in my life. She was a very loving and caring person. Not only was she family to me, she was the lady who had the most positive outlook on life. Gigi helped me become a stronger individual. She helped me with the toughest situations I was going through at the time. She was going back to school for nuclear medicine because she changed her mind so many times before that. Although she was 46 years old and back in college, going back to school and getting the education she didn’t have was the best for her. It was what she wanted to do. If she wanted something, she definitely did everything she could so she could have it. In her spare time she was an esthetician and a hair stylist. She had a full out hair salon in her basement. She always did my hair. She was an exceptional stylist. Gigi was the only one I would ever let touch my hair because I trusted her and only her. Unfortunately, Gigi got really sick in March of 2011. She undergone a surgery and multiple tests to find out what was wrong with her. In September of 2011, my aunt was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, which is bile duct cancer. The doctors gave her a couple months to live. She remained positive in her time being with us. She wanted to conquer everything she could before she left us. My aunt loved going to the casino and spending time with her husband. So in her time, she did what she loved just to remain strong.
