Illegal marijuana has been a controversial matter for years. A vast majority of citizens believe that if marijuana was legal in the united states for recreational use it will open peoples minds to new ideas, and it relaxes people as well, and it would reduce the rate of crime with people being relaxed and chill all the time. It will also make more money for the government if it was legal, for example in colorado marijuana is legal and it is probably making the government tons of money.
Also the growing of cannabis also makes jobs so it is a win win situation for everyone. in the states that people actually need it. I support the legalization of Medical Marijuana in Pennsylvania. It benefits us who are terminally ill. Creates revenue for the state. Allows law enforcement to concentrate on actual crimes. Lessens the backlog of dumb cases in our court systems. Gives adults an alternative to toxic medications. Support farmers and creates jobs as well as retail opportunities which in turn creates more tax revenue. The list truly goes on and on. Legalize it already! Medical Marijuana is not about getting high, it's about quality of life for so many people. In conclusion people actually need marijuana to be legal in certain states because it is a great alternative to toxic medication that people can develop an immunity to it and without the negative side effects of the medication, plus the bill for the medications are enormous for some people and can barely afford it.     Marijuana is not as dangerous of a drug as some others that are available on the market for treating diseases. I personally know a friend whose family member was prescribed highly addictive painkillers after a back surgery.
