Knowing how your baby is going to act as he grows up is something that no parents knows how they are going to be. The first few days as a new parents is sometimes hard for some people to adapt in their life, but some people adapt on being a new parent very hard. As days and months passed by parents sometimes talk about how there are going to raised their child. Sometimes they might agree on how they are going to raised them because of their culture. Culture is a big factor that plays a role on how parents are going to raise their child. Not only does culture play a big role but also family members also have a big impact on the infant and child life. I as a mother of a one year old son, can tell everyone that families do play a role on an infant and young child life. In some experiences that I have had with my son I can tell you that my parents and also my husbands would be very protected of their grandson. As my husband and I being first time parents we were very happy and scared at the same time with our son the first two months. Our parents would jump in a lot and tell us that we were not doing the things the right way and their parents taught them to do it a curtain way. Families, especially parents, play a fundamental role in forming the values of children (Mahalihali, 2013). As stated my Mahalihali I have to agree with the statement that he gave. One other way that infants and children way on how they are raise is by nature and nurture. The way that the parents are influence to raise their child is by what they are learning how other people are raising their child. We are raising our children by the way that our parents raise us to be and our parents were raise by how the grandparents taught their parents. My family coming from Mexico they were raise in a traditional family, doing things and raising children the way they were taught. For
