Time management is commonly defined as the various means by which people effectively use their time and other closely related resources in order to make the most out of it. (Wikipedia, 1 Sept 08) The most important commodity in the world is time. Needless to say, time management is a very important skill in everyday lives. Good time management ensures things to be completed on time and achieve goals. Time management strategies are often associated with the recommendation to set goals and objectives in life. Time management principles develop personal goals and prioritize, prepare planning calendar to achieve these goals, prepare daily “to do” list based on your planning calendar, organize your workspace, tools and materials, adopt appropriate use of technology, the last thing is “do it now!” (Lecture notes – Time management). As for this research, an actual time log has been recorded in reference to various life areas.
